Yılmaz’s Binali Yıldırım Article is sued

Journalist Mehmet Y. Yılmaz was sued due to the report which he questioned the source of the increase of Binali Yıldırım and his childrens fortune.

In the accusation, arranged due to the Binali Yıldırıms official criminal complaint,  to 4 years 1 month prison sentence is demanded.

Mehmet Y. Yılmaz’s “Mr. Binali, reveal the secrets, get my vote!”, “My duty for Mr. Binali is “fit to the specific gravity””, “Come on Mr. Binali Ak Youth is waiting!”, “I think as well that Erdoğan envies Mr. Binali.” titled and published in T24’s articles are considered as defamation through press. İstanbul 37th penal court of first instance accepted the accusations.

The one that titled “Mr. Binali, reveal the secrets, get my vote!” article was denied access by the decision of İstanbul Anatolian 4th criminal court of peace following Binali Yıldırım’s application in June.

The case’s first hearing ,opened to Yılmaz as he wrote “the sources of the rises in Binali Yıldırım himself’s and his children’s fortune -which people wonder as well- after being the İstanbul metropolitan municipality candidate must be revealed”, is going to take place in 14 January 2020 in penal court of first instance.
