Unjust sufferings of journalism after democracy downfall in Turkey were presented United Nations in reports.
Reports were presented separately as “Freedom of Thought Constraints” and “Shutted Media Institutions”. Those reports were prepared by examining official figures, decree-laws, accusations and court decisions for approximately 6 months. Reports were gathered together by a group of volunteer journalists assigned by our association and legal experts supporting them then translated to English. Investigations over the reports by UN units continue.
We are waiting till November to publish those reports prepared in accordance with the United Nations application procedure. Our thought is that those reports will help for the development report published once in every 5 years and the next one is in the beginning of 2020.
