Preventive Follow-up to 7 thousand 127 social media accounts from Ministry

According to the written statement of the Spokesperson of the Ministry of the Internal Affairs, İsmail Çataklı, 7 thousand 127 accounts  who shared content about the coronavirus were marked, while 58 social media users were identified, and 496 users were detained. 10 people were arrested under the same operation.

İsmail Çataklı, a spokesperson for the Ministry of the Internal Affairs, made a written statement on the agenda.

Çataklı gave figures on the operations carried out for “provocative social media posts” related to the coronavirus pandemic.

In the statement of the spokesperson of the Ministry, Çataklı, the following information was disclosed to the press and the public: “7 thousand 127 accounts were made about provocative sharing of coronavirus. Among 1058 social media users identified, 496 of them were caught, 10 of them were arrested ”.
