The training programs organized by the International Journalists Association (IJA) Media Academy continue at full speed in 2023. In 2022, IJA Academy organized trainings such as video editing and PhotoShop, and started 2023 with Canva training.
The first training was held in January, and when there was great interest, the second training was held between February 13-24. In the training attended by 1172 people from about 30 countries, design expert Orhan Tavis gave lectures on the basic topics of Canva. Participants were also asked to submit a project on freedom of the press. Participants will receive a certificate of participation at the end of the project.
At the end of the training, Canva training participants learned how to prepare digital content much more practically and professionally, turn it into a visual feast, and share the content with rich and striking visuals on all social media channels.
Canva, a graphic design platform that allows the creation of many visual content such as social media graphics, presentations and posters, is frequently used by professional social media content producers.
