An important part of the conference focused on journalism and human rights activism. Under the title “Telling Stories”, journalists and human rights defenders from 20 countries around the world shared their experiences. In this context, bilateral contacts were established and many issues, especially journalism in exile, were discussed.
These meetings allowed participants from different countries to share their experiences and discuss human rights and democracy issues from a broader perspective.
Revolutionale, organised by the Friedliche Revolution Foundation, is a biennial international roundtable conference that aims to strengthen civil society commitment to human rights, democracy and social change. Revolutionale aims to promote international unity for democracy and freedom, reflecting the spirit of peaceful coexistence and solidarity symbolised by the Peaceful Autumn Revolution of 1989.
