Dozens of journalists have already been killed worldwide since the beginning of 2022. Another colleague of us reporter Shirin Abu Aqla was killed during an operation by the Israeli army in the West Bank yesterday.
Everyone knows that “Journalism is not a crime” Everyone knows that Shirin was doing her job. IJA has repeatedly stated that any attacks on journalists are unacceptable, and it calls on all parties to the ongoing conflict in the region to respect the freedom of the press.
