Ernest Alesin, Vice President of the Lithuanian Journalists’ Association, met with journalists at the International Journalists Association (IJA).
He was welcomed by Mustafa Kılıç and journalist Fatih Akalan on behalf of IJA.
The meeting was also attended by journalist Abdullah Abdülkadiroğlu and several young interns.
The discussion focused on the future of media and current challenges facing journalism. Participants emphasized the impact of digitalization and social media on the transformation of the profession.
Issues such as ethical responsibilities and the difficulties of modern journalism were also addressed. Alesin later toured the MC TV studios, receiving information about ongoing projects.
The visit was regarded as an important step toward strengthening international journalistic solidarity and laying the groundwork for future collaborations.
