Information on Membership Processes
Membership Application, Terms and Process
a. Members of the Association shall consist of full members and supporting members.
b. Any natural or legal person and any group of persons who make a special contribution to the objectives of the Association may become a full member.
c. Any natural or legal person or group of persons may become a supporting member. Supporting members support the aims of the association by paying annual dues and, if they wish, by making personal contributions. They do not have voting rights.
d. Real persons must be over 18 years of age to become a member.
e. Written application is made for membership. Natural persons shall state their name, surname, date of birth, profession and address in the application petition. Legal entities or communities must state their name, legal representative, purpose of activity, address and names of legal representatives.
f. The authority to decide on the application for full membership belongs to the Board of Directors. The decision shall be notified in writing. The board of directors is not obliged to justify its rejection decision and this decision cannot be subject to appeal.
g. Membership starts when the acceptance letter reaches the member. The new member is deemed to have accepted the statutes of the association and the statutes of the higher organizations of which the association is a member.
h. Membership shall cease if:
a) The member requests to leave at the end of the calendar quarter in writing and with at least one month’s notice,
b) Dissolution of legal entities or communities,
c) Death in natural persons,
d) Deletion from membership by the decision of the board of directors due to non-payment of dues despite two reminders or failure to be reached at the notified contact address,
e) Expulsion for important reasons, by a decision of the board of directors after being heard.
i. The Board of Directors is authorized to determine the membership fees. The maturity of the dues shall be regulated separately; staggered payment methods may be determined.
