Aiming to strengthen media literacy and promote critical thinking among young people, the IJA Academy is expanding its opportunities for youth.
The Academy team visited Radio Klangbrett, Aschaffenburg’s youth-focused local radio station, to explore options for internships, hands-on radio experience, and joint podcast and radio productions.
The meeting addressed key issues such as social media content creation, disinformation, and radicalisation, all of which affect young people directly. Both sides discussed creative ways to empower youth in these areas.
They also examined concrete cooperation plans: participants from the IJA Academy may soon gain practical technical and editorial experience in the Klangbrett studio.
The visit marks an important step toward enabling young people to become more visible, skilled and actively engaged in the media landscape.
