Journalist Ahmet Uzan, who worked for Habertürk, Aksam, Ihlas News Agency and Sabah Egeli Newspaper for 14 years, was arrested on November 24, 2016. He was first sent to İzmir Aliağa and then to Menemen Prison. His indictment was prepared in the 6th month of his arrest, and in the 11th month he was sentenced to 7 years and 6 months in prison. “MY SON WAS AT ATTACK PERIOD”
“My husband has been in prison for 44 months. On the night of November 8, 2016, we woke up with a ringing bell. We asked the police not to wake up our children when they were searching the house. My 7.5-year-old son suffered from asthma, it was his attack period. The police, who saw the nebulizer, said, “Is there a patient at home?”

My daughter Reyyan was 2.5 years old. He woke up from the noises . She sat on her father’s lap until the cops were done at home.
