The conference was held by the International Press Institute (IPI) and the Independent Journalism Foundation (NFNZ) in Prague, the capital of Czech Republic,.
Our association, which consistently tries to take part in every media-related platform on an international scale and also becomes the organizer or supporter of all activities aimed at ensuring dialogue, solidarity and professional development among media workers, was also one of the participants of the conference.
One of the editors of the International Journalists (Z. Nur), followed the conference, which was attended by many journalists and officials from professional press organizations.
The conference titled ‘European Journalism NOW’ discussed common standards of journalism in Europe and options for meeting these standards.
Participants also shared their views on the European Media Freedom Act. The conference lasted two days, and parts of the law that needed improvements were discussed.
