Journalist Ayşe Düzkan announced that her accounts were blocked by HSBC after she got out of prison.

Journalist Ayse Duzkan said that a similar situation happened to her and announced that her accounts had been blocked by HSBC after she got out of prison. The journalist, writer Ayşe Düzkan, who was sentenced to one year and six months in prison for participating in the Delegation of Özgür Gündem newspaper’s Sentry General Directorate campaign, was blocked after his release from prison.

Duzkan said that HSBC reported to her that they did not want to work with her after she was released. “Not even via phone call. One day I couldn’t withdraw money from the ATM, I called the bank and found out that they blocked my accounts. I got my money from the branch, my cards were canceled ”. said she. Ayse Düzkan was released on 12 June.
