The International Journalists Association e. V. (IJA), which supports journalists in particular who have been forced to leave Turkey organizes training programs for refugee journalists.
The fact that digital media is beginning to replace traditional media all over the world makes compliance with this new medium mandatory for journalists. IJA has also increased its educational activities to prepare its members for the constantly changing media.
IJA, which previously provided its members with two-stage (online and face-to-face) new media regie training, finally conducted a photoshop training, which attracted great attention. About 40 people participated in the training, while 25 journalists who were successful were eligible for certification.
IJA, who needs support to continue these trainings, participated in ALDI’s project competition with the refugee journalists training series. IJA’s project, which received great attention, took the rope to the very front and finished the competition as the first.
