Frank Überall, the federal president of Journalisten-Verband (DJV) which is Europe’s largest journalism association with 38 thousand members, and Ramis Kılıçarslan who is a member of the DJV Advisory Board met with IJA Director of Foreign Relations and Journalist Post Editor-in-Chief Yüksel Durgut in Berlin.
At the meeting, the problems of exiled journalists and the situation of journalists who were targeted in different cities of Europe were discussed.
It was stated that there should be a joint struggle within the scope of the tackle of journalists who were forced to leave their countries and make it difficult for them to do their jobs, regarding their struggle for freedom of the press.
