m³PowerYouth

m³PowerYouth is a youth project that supports young people in addressing social issues through creative media tools and developing their own forms of expression. Within the scope of the project, participants produced content across different disciplines, strengthening both their individual expression skills and their engagement with social issues. Through creative production processes, young people’s media, cultural and social skills were supported, while increasing their self-confidence and social participation was also encouraged. In this respect, the project provided a participatory and production-oriented learning environment where young people could make their own voices visible.

Project Introduction

m³PowerYouth was carried out to support young people between the ages of 14 and 26 in reflecting on social issues, producing content and expressing themselves through media and art based activities. Throughout the project process, participants gained individual and collective production experience through creative content production, storytelling and group work.

The project encouraged young people to approach social issues through different forms of expression while also contributing to the strengthening of social bonds and the development of a culture of collaborative production. In this way, participants had the opportunity to improve not only their technical and creative skills but also their social awareness.

Purpose of the Project

The main objective of the project was to improve young people’s media, cultural and social skills and to support their active participation in social issues. In addition, the project aimed to expand young people’s creative spaces for expression and encourage them to present themselves more confidently.

Activities Carried Out

• Media and art workshops were organized.
• Storytelling and content production trainings were conducted.
• Group work supporting collaborative production among participants was carried out.
• Final presentations were held at the end of the project process.

Outputs and Results

The project reached approximately 36 participants. Throughout the process, various digital contents in video, visual and text formats were produced, and the works developed by participants were made visible through presentation events.

These outcomes demonstrated that the project was an effective initiative that strengthened young people’s creative production skills and opened the resulting content to public sharing.

Impact

m³PowerYouth contributed to increasing young people’s self-confidence and enabling them to express themselves more strongly. Participants’ awareness of social issues increased, and their social participation skills improved through creative production processes.

The project created an important space of experience that supported young people not only in producing content but also in making their own perspectives visible.
