IJA member journalists and media workers from many countries including Germany, the Netherlands, Belgium, Switzerland, and Norway gathered at the ‘2023 members meeting’. The meeting, which was attended by 534 guests with their families, turned into a festival. IJA members who poured into ‘Steinau Erlebnis Park’ from the morning hours had an unforgettable day.
The meeting started with breakfast and continued with surprise events after the Eid celebration. At the event, where gift giveaways and pocket money were distributed to children, guests were offered various treats such as çiğköfte, doner and baklava throughout the day. Journalists and media workers had long and pleasant conversations, while children had a good time in different playgrounds.
At the traditional IJA members’ meeting, guests exchanged ideas on issues such as journalists’ problems and solutions, developments in the media and new projects.
In addition to our current members, new members, exiled journalists and media workers who had to leave their countries after the unlawful process in Turkey also attended the members’ meeting.
