The Presidency Communication Presidency, which took a step back after the public reaction, revalidated the canceled press cards.

Press cards of BirGün and Evrensel newspaper employees have been revoked as of today.

No statement was made from the Presidencial Communication Presidency

After the press cards were canceled, the phrase “canceled” was written in the “Press card inquiry” section. When viewed today, it saw the phrase “in use”. However, no explanation was made to the public from the Presidential Communications Presidency.

After the Press Cards Commission was connected to the Presidencial Communications Presidency, when journalists who applied for a renewal application called the Press Card Support Line, they received the response “You can continue to use your old cards”. On the query screen, there was the expression “Waiting”. However, the cards of BirGün, Evrensel and Cumhuriyet newspaper employees were canceled last week.
